Sale of CORREA DIANA 25 retrofitted milling machine to France
NC Service Milling Machines, S.A. retrofitted the CORREA DIANA 25 second-hand milling machine, which was then finally sold to a customer in France, who is now enjoying the good performance characteristics of this CNC milling machine.
CORREA DIANA 25 milling machine with automatic tool changer
This fixed bench CORREA DIANA 25 milling machine is designed for customers demanding high versatility and excellent finishing conditions, which are characteristic of the CORREA milling machines. This retrofitted milling machine features a travel of 2,500 mm on the X axis, and 1,000 mm on both the Y and Z axes. It is also fitted with a UDG auto-indexing head with indexed positions of 2.5º and high pressure coolant through the spindle, 30-tool automatic tool changer (ATC-30), HEIDENHAIN TNC-530 numerical control, longitudinal chip conveyor and electronic hand wheel.
NC Service purchased this CNC milling machine on the second-hand machinery market and started the retrofitting work at its facilities in Burgos. During the retrofitting, the company COFAMECA made enquiries about this milling machine. This French-based company specialising in mechanical study and production, right from the design, study, production and support up to the development of special machines, finally decided on the purchase of this milling machine to add to its already large production capacity with its characteristic high quality.
Given the difficult global situation with regard to COVID-19, the visit by COFAMECA for the final acceptance of the machine was delayed until summer 2020. During this visit, the customer was able to confirm the quality of the retrofitting work performed by NC Service, and the good machining conditions of this retrofitted versatile milling machine.
Following acceptance, this CORREA DIANA25 milling machine was installed at this company´s plant in Longueville, where this customer can now increase its production capacity and meet its customers´ demand with greater speed, precision and efficiency.
